Privacy Policy
1. Who we are
Eastern Ghats International Pte. Ltd., 203 Henderson Road #12-11 (Wing B), Henderson Industrial Park, Singapore 159546, operates TexPeople for employees, consultants, and freelancers of Texcoms and its group companies. You may use TexPeople in a browser (including the installable portal) or in Tex360 on a phone. Sign-in, HR records, and privacy choices are shared across both. Contact: inoblearunkumar@gmail.com / +91 99940 94605.
2. Applicable privacy laws
TexPeople is used in more than one country. We process personal data under the privacy law of your work country, and under Singapore’s PDPA because the operator is Singapore-incorporated. Where a local law gives you a stronger right, that local law applies.
| Country | Primary law |
|---|---|
| India | Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDPA) |
| Indonesia | Undang-Undang Nomor 27 Tahun 2022 tentang Pelindungan Data Pribadi (UU PDP) |
| Thailand | Personal Data Protection Act B.E. 2562 (2019) (PDPA) |
| Vietnam | Law on Personal Data Protection 2025 (Luật Bảo vệ dữ liệu cá nhân) and Decree 13/2023/NĐ-CP |
| Bangladesh | Personal Data Protection Act, 2026 |
| Singapore | Personal Data Protection Act 2012 (PDPA) |
| Egypt | Personal Data Protection Law No. 151 of 2020 |
| Brazil | Lei Geral de Proteção de Dados (LGPD, Law 13.709/2018) |
Optional features such as colleague location sharing run on your consent. You can withdraw that consent at any time in TexPeople settings (web or Tex360). Employment, payroll, and attendance records are also processed because they are needed to run your employment and to meet labour, tax, and statutory duties.
3. LOCATION data accessed by Tex360
The Tex360 mobile app (TexPeople on Android / iOS) accesses LOCATION data on the device only while you are using the app. This includes:
- Precise LOCATION data (GPS / fine location) and approximate LOCATION data (network / coarse location) when you clock in or clock out, so your employer can confirm you are at an allowed workplace or field site.
- Precise LOCATION data to show local weather on the Home screen.
Tex360 does not collect location in the background, and it does not request Always / persistent location permission. Travel claims and GPS trip map are not included in the current Tex360 App Store / Play build; those workplace tools remain on the TexPeople web portal if your employer uses them.
LOCATION data is requested only after an in-app disclosure and the system permission prompt. You can refuse or later revoke location permission in device settings. Clock-in that needs GPS will not work without it.
We do not use LOCATION data for advertising, remarketing, or selling to data brokers.
4. Other data we collect
Depending on how you use TexPeople (web or Tex360), we may also process:
- Account identifiers (employee ID, name, work email) to sign you in.
- Attendance, leave, travel claims, timesheets, and related work records.
- Device notifications (FCM token) if you allow push notifications.
- App diagnostics needed to keep the service running.
5. Why we use this data
- Provide HR self-service (attendance, leave, travel, payslips, approvals).
- Verify workplace presence and official travel for payroll / reimbursement.
- Secure your session (including optional fingerprint / Face ID unlock stored on the device).
6. Who we share LOCATION and other data with
LOCATION data and work records stay inside TexPeople so authorised managers and HR can review attendance. We use infrastructure processors (for example cloud hosting and push notification providers) only to run the service. We do not sell personal data.
7. Cross-border processing
Group companies operate in the countries listed above. TexPeople systems may process data in Singapore, India, or another country where Texcoms or its processors host the service. Transfers are only for running employment and the platform, with access limited to authorised staff and processors.
8. Retention
LOCATION points tied to a clock event are kept as part of that work record for as long as the employer must retain attendance and expense records (typically the applicable payroll / statutory period), then deleted or archived per company policy.
9. Your rights and choices
Depending on your work country, you can usually ask to access or correct your data, withdraw consent for optional processing (such as location sharing), and request deletion where the law allows. Statutory payroll and attendance records may need to be kept even if you ask for deletion.
- Deny or revoke location permission in Android / iOS settings.
- Turn off location sharing in TexPeople Settings (web or Tex360).
- Ask HR to correct or delete account data where the law allows.
- If HR cannot resolve a privacy request, you may complain to the data protection authority in your work country (for example India’s Data Protection Board, Indonesia’s Kominfo / UU PDP supervisor, Thailand’s PDPC, Vietnam’s A05 / Ministry of Public Security, Bangladesh’s data protection authority, Singapore’s PDPC, Egypt’s DPA, or Brazil’s ANPD).
10. Children
TexPeople is a workplace service for adults. It is not directed at children.
11. Changes
We will update this page when our LOCATION or other data practices change. The “Last updated” date at the top will change when we do.
